• Started learning Arabic calligraphy with Ibrahim Al-misrati from 2006

until he had his traditional graduation certificate (ijazah) in both

Thuluth and Naskh in 2008.

• Founder and ex-CEO of the Libyan Association for Arabic Calligraphy

and Islamic Arts.

• PhD student in traditional Islamic and Turkish art, major of

calligraphy at University of Fatih Sultan Mehmet FSMVU, Istanbul.

• Studying calligraphy professionally under supervision of Ahmed

Koçak, Davud Bektas and Ali Toy at FSMVU and on private courses.

• Won the 5th prize (incentive) in the branch of Thuluth at the

international calligraphy competition (IRCICA) Istanbul 2016.

• Won the 2nd prize in the branch of Thuluth at the international

calligraphy competition Zeytinburnu Belediyesi Istanbul 2016.

• Participated in many exhibitions in Libya, Turkey, UAE, Saudi Arabia,

Algeria, Tunisia, Malaysia, Hong Kong and some other countries.

• Exhibited his first solo exhibition in Kuala Lumpur 2009.

• Taught Arabic calligraphy at University of Al-Merghib in Libya for two

years before travelling to Istanbul for his PhD.

• Still teaching Calligraphy via Internet to student from different

countries.

• His works have been spread and hold in private collections in Libya,

Malaysia, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong, UK, UAE, China, New Zealand,

and Turkey.
