About Artist

She was born in 1987 in Istanbul. In 2002, she started to study illumination in History and Islamic Research Foundation. She participated in various exhibitions within the Foundation. Between 2008 and 2012, she continued her education in illumination studies at the Turkish Classical Arts Foundation and graduated from the studio of Ayşenur Kadakçı Velioğlu. Her works are included in the collection of Erguvan prepared by KTSV of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, and also included in Istanbul 2010 and Istanbul's Face 2011 collections. She was awarded with encouragement award in illumination branch of "2015 Seven Hill Seven Art International Classical Arts Competition". With assistance of Mustafa Çelebi, Ali Toy and Davut Bektaş from Fatih Sultan Mehmet Foundation University Traditional Turkish Arts Department, she graduated in 2017 and continued her graduate education in the same department. She is also the assistant to Ayşenur Kadakçı Velioğlu at the Classical Turkish Arts Foundation.
