Belal Mokhtar Salah Atia

·        Egyptian ,was born in Zagazig, Sharqia in 1982.

·        He holds a Ph.D. in Education in the field of Educational Technology in 2017. He also received a diploma in specialization and gilding in the Arabic calligraphy, came second order in 2009.

·        Member of the Board of the Saudi Scientific Association for Arabic Calligraphy in the period from 2014 to 2017.

·        Member of the General Union of Calligraphers in Egypt.

·        He works as a lecturer at Umm Al-Qura University in Makkah. He also worked as a teacher of Arabic calligraphy and Islamic decoration at the School of improving Arabic fonts in Zagazig since graduating in 2009 until 2012.

·        Studied at the hands of Mr. Mohamed Hassan Radwan, may God have mercy on him, and Mr. Tharwat Refaat, and studied the Thulth line at the hands of Mr. Sherine Abdel Saber.

·        Member of the judging committee of the Okaz International competition for Arabic calligraphy at its tenth session, (1437H) (2016).

·        Won the second prize in the Thulth line in the International Competition for the Arabic calligraphy in the municipality of Üsküdar, Istanbul 2017.

·        He won an award in the famous Thulth Line, the tenth international competition for calligraphy in Turkey, which was held by the Research Center for Islamic History, Art and Culture in Istanbul (IRCICA)  in 2016.

·        He won a Central Award for the original trend category at the Sharjah International Calligraphy Festival in 2014.

·        Won the first order in the Arabic calligraphy competition within the Medina Forum of Visual Arts in 2013.

·        Received a gold medal and certificate of appreciation from the Egyptian General Association of Arabic Calligraphy in 2007 for his second order on the Republic in the Diploma of Arabic calligraphy.

·        Presented many Teaching Arabic calligraphy courses at the universities of Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

·        Won the honor of writing and decoration of several major mosques in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

·        Participated in many international gatherings and exhibitions of  calligraphy inside and outside Egypt.
