About Artist

Born in 1975, Habib Ramezanpour
received his calligraphy training in Tehran
from calligraphers Abbas Akhavain and
Sasan Gol Bostani. Himself a calligraphy
professor, Ramezanpour won the first
prize at the Quranic Calligraphy Exhibition
in Tahran in 1990, the first prize at the
Tarigh-e Javid Festival in 2004, the first
prize at the Qazvin Biennial Festival held
in Yazd in 2009, the second prize in 2011
and the first prize in the 2012 and 2013
rounds, at the al-Burda Festival held in the
United Arab Emirates.
