About Artist
Born in Istanbul, he was the grandson of Ömer Vahid Efendi, a notable figure among treasurers and calligraphers, and the son of Mehmed Jalaladdin Efendi, who held the position of Military Judge of Anatolia. Following an exemplary education, he was incorporated into the ranks of the professors. While serving in this capacity, he passed away at a young age on 18 Safar 1223 AH (15 April 1808 AD). He was laid to rest in the Karacaahmet Cemetery, adjacent to his grandfather's grave.
