About Artist
She was born in Istanbul. After completing her primary
and secondary education, she started illumination education in 1995. She was
granted permission by Necati Sancaktutan to illuminate in 2001. She graduated
from Anadolu University, Faculty of Literature. She is currently pursuing her
Master in Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan University in Traditional Art department
with the supervision of her teachers Münevver Üçer and Faruk Taşkale. She
participated in various group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. Her works are
published in books and collections. At the same time with the encouragement of
her teacher Necati Sancaktutan, she has been working as a teacher in ISMEK
Bağlarbaşı Turkish Islamic Arts Specialization Center since 2010.
