About Artist
She was born in 1985. She studied at Seljuk University Mathematics Teaching Department and graduated in 2007.
In 2004, she started to take marbling lessons from Sadreddin Ozcimi. She became third in the category of flower in the contest of "Traditional Turkish Marbling Art " in 2010. In the same year she received a ratification from Sadreddin Özçimi and she was the assistant of Sadreddin Ozcimi in Konya Destegül Fine Arts School.
In 2011 won the first prize in the 16th State Turkish Decorative Arts Competition with the title "Seljuk" from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
In 2012 the artist was added to the list of "UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage" by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. In Siirt she worked in the project titled "Art from the Street" aimed at protecting young people from bad habits and she was invited by Tayyip Erdogan on “November 24th Reception” at the Presidential Palace of Turkey with the theme of "Teachers Who Make a Difference".
In 2017-2018 academic year, she worked in various art projects at Beylerbeyi Sabancı Art Institute. "Molecule" installation and "99 Name of Allah" exhibition were exhibited in Yeditepe Biennale which was supported by government in 2018.
The artist who has participated in many exhibitions throughout the country, and still giving marbling lessons at her art studio in İstanbul.
