About Artist
She was born in 1990 in Istanbul.
She graduated from Kadıköy İmam Hatip High School. In 2008, she started to take
illumination lessons from Ayten Tiryaki, thanks to encouragement of her mother, Hattat Ayşen Uzun. In 2012,
Uzun received her consent from her teacher, Tiryaki. In the same year, she
graduated from the Associate Degree
Program at Eskişehir Anadolu University, Open Education Faculty of Eskişehir
Anadolu University. In 2017, she
graduated from Fatih Sultan Mehmet Foundation University (FSMVU), Faculty of
Fine Arts, Department of Traditional Turkish Arts. Then, she started her master
degree at Illumination Department of Fine Arts Institute, FSMVU. She
participated in various group exhibitions with her works in private
collections. She continues taking lessons of thuluth and rica from Davut
Bektaş, rica from Ali Toy, miniature from Taner Alakus and Mustafa N. Çelebi.
