Hademe-i hümâyûndan olan Süleyman Efendi, nice zaman Sultan 2. Abdülhamid'in hizmetinde bulunmuş, sultanın hal'inden sonra da teka'üde sevkedilmiştir. Bu hal üzere iken vefat etmişse de, tarihi ve medfeni tespit edilememiştir.

Hüsn-i hatta hevesle İbrahim Alâ'eddîn Bey'den aklâm-ı sitte meşkederek icazet almış olduğu bilinmekteyse de, eserine tesadüf edilem
