About Artist
Born in 1966, Osamaa Muhammad al-
Hamzawy is a graduate of University of
Damascus, Faculty of Law. He received
his ceritificate in thuluth-naskh script
from Hasan Çelebi and Ubeyde Albanki.
He participated in local and international
competitions, gave workshops and served
as a jury member in Abdulhamid al-Katib
Calligraphy Competition held in Syria and
the National Arabic Calligraphy Workshop
in Algeria.
