About Artist

        Yusuf Mazı, who was born in Turkey’s northern province of Tokat in 1989, studied Islamic lessons during his secondary and high school education. He graduated from the Evliya Çelebi Quran Course in 2008 and practiced the calligraphy styles of riq’a and tal’iq with Mustafa Parıldar at the Classical Turkish Arts Foundation in 2012. Mazı has received prizes in local and international competitions and also participated in many national and international exhibitions. He continues his calligraphy endeavors in Istanbul.
